17:13. യിശ്ശായിയുടെ മൂത്ത മക്കൾ മൂവരും പുറപ്പെട്ടു ശൌലിന്റെ കൂടെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു ചെന്നിരുന്നു. യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോയ മൂന്നു മക്കൾ ആദ്യജാതൻ ഏലീയാബും അവന്റെ അനുജൻ അബീനാദാബും മൂന്നാമത്തെവൻ ശമ്മയും ആയിരുന്നു.
